Adele Clears Up Super Bowl And Pregnancy Rumors At Los Angeles Concert

Maybe next year

by daniel barna

No one does in-between song banter quite like Adele, whose run of sold out shows in Los Angeles has already produced its fair share of magical moments. On Saturday, the singer decided to address rumors head on, when she revealed that contrary to recent reports, she won't be performing at this year's Super Bowl halftime show.

"I'm not doing the Super Bowl," Adele told the audience. "I mean, come on, that show is not about music and I don't dance or anything like that." Despite the obvious disappointment that came with the realization that they'd just been robbed of the greatest halftime show ever, the crowd appreciated Adele staying true to herself. She did admit that the NFL had approached her about the gig, but that she turned them down. Now that's power.

Adele did leave the window open, saying that she would consider taking the highly coveted gig to promote her next album. "I'm going to do a dance album next time," she said, tongue planted firmly in cheek. Adele also took a moment to address the pregnancy rumors that have been circling the singer recently. "F*cking stupid rumors," she joked. "They're so f*cking stupid." We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
