We’re Cutting Thanksgiving Short for the Air Jordan VI “Black Infrared”
NYLON Guys takes an early look at a reissued Air Jordan classic. moreA favorite among the fashion forward and MJ purists—not one in the same, necessarily—this year’s Air Jordan VI “Black Infrared” will see some much anticipated quality refreshes. For $185, buyers can expect a sneaker that features buttery, black nubuck uppers with perforated 3M panels throughout; infrared hits on the midsole, heel tab, and lace lock; and an oh-so ice blue outsole. Set to hit select retailers November 28 (Black Friday), this release will undoubtedly be responsible for a number of abbreviated Thanksgiving celebrations.
Hyped yet? Well, consider this: 2014 marks 23 years since Mike rocked the iconic Air Jordan VI and led the Chicago Bulls to the first of what would be six Larry O’Brien trophies during his 15-year NBA career.
