The 'Alice Through The Looking Glass Trailer' Is Out Of This World Good

"hello alice."

The first trailer for Alice Through the Looking Glass is here—and just in the nick of time! The first two teaser clips of this sequel to Tim Burton's smash hit, Alice In Wonderland, were drenched in saturated blues, purples, and pinks, but left much of the film’s actual narrative to the viewer’s imagination. Now, we’ve got two minutes of CGI goodness and very anxious bunny rabbits.

Johnny Depp returns as the Mad Hatter, who is in desperate need of saving. Alice (Mia Wasikowska) must venture back into Underland to help save him. And while Burton didn't return to direct, the first film's cast of extraordinary characters did: Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and the White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat are back, too. In this installment, though, we’re going to meet Time, played by Sacha Baron Cohen. According to the trailer, he is not a person you want to make enemies with. (He also seems to have a sinister plan for Alice.) What evil lurks beyond the looking glass will be unveiled Memorial Day of 2016. Set those alarms now—time is ticking.
