Nicki Minaj, Karlie Kloss, Juno Temple, And More Want You To Switch To Apple's "No Strings" Headphones

A new kind of Pinocchio song

The death of the headphone jack is a slow but steady one. Give the iPhone 7 a few months to get the FOMO to set in, and soon enough, everyone will have to succumb to Apple's must-have-it-now ways, leaving behind millions of pre-iPhone 7s in their wake.

To help speed that process along, Nicki Minaj and more famous people have joined forces with Beats by Dre to convince you that wireless is better. A new ad for Beats' iPhone 7-approved headphones and earbuds finds these celebrities going about their day-to-days, lip-synching to “I’ve Got No Strings” from Disney's Pinocchio. (You know, as one does.) Karlie Kloss makes an appearance, as does Juno Temple, Pharrell, Steve Buscemi, DJ Khaled, Michael Phelps, and more. It's just another gem of an ad from the company and parent company that have brought you Taylor Swift falling on a treadmill. Is it enough to convert thousands? Perhaps. Cutting the cord is, after all, the hardest thing to do.
