how to keep your cool while still looking classic.

What makeup do you wear to a party when it's 90 degrees and you have to be outside? If you're Ashley Madekwe, you go with a clean--but super glamorous--look. Avon Global celebrity makeup artist Lauren Andersen, who worked with the actress for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, says, "We went with a pretty, barely there makeup look."

Getting it yourself? It's no sweat--Andersen broke down the look for us:

FACE IT: Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation SPF 19 - $55, Laura Mercier Bronzing Pressed Powder - $32

Andersen used foundation as a base before layering bronzer on to the cheeks.

DEFINE IT: Avon True Color Eye Shadow Quad in Chocolate Sensation - $5.99, Avon Mega Effects Mascara - $10

She then swept the #3 brown shade from the quad across Madekwe's lid, blending out at the crease, before finishing off the eyes with Avon's new, crazy-looking mascara (which we love).

BOLD IT: Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Cherry Jubilee - $5.99

To tie together the look, Andersen used the bright, bold Cherry Jubilee lipstick; it makes a statement without being too heavy.
