Emma Watson Sings In The New ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Trailer

She wants adventure in the great wide somewhere

For what’s essentially a 30-second commercial, the latest trailer for Disney’s upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast is pretty stunning. The spot premiered during tonight’s Golden Globes and features what is basically all new footage. It’s soundtracked over Emma Watson belting out a stirring rendition of the song “Belle.” We also get some clear glimpses of the beast himself, played by Dan Stevens, including when Belle meets him for the very first time. The movie, which was directed by Bill Condon, doesn’t hit theaters until March 17, but anticipation for it is building. Disney’s last recreation of one of their iconic animated movies was Cinderella, which was both a critical and box success.

Disney also dropped the movie’s official poster, which highlights the movie’s sprawling cast. It shows the hotel’s staff in human form, as opposed to the CGI versions we see in the trailer, as well as high-wattage names like Emma Thompson, Kevin Kline, Ewan McGregor, and Stanley Tucci. Luke Evans as the villainous Gaston is also there. Check out the poster below, and watch the trailer above.
