Considering Evan Rachel Wood was kicking off the Tribeca Film Festival--her Hollywood glamour hair was totally on point--like a modern version take on film noir's femmes fatale. Thanks to some styling tricks and a minimalist black dress, she didn't come across as looking overly retro. Hairstylist Christopher Naselli for Oribe Hair Care gave us the full rundown on his technique and the products he used on Wood:

MIST IT:Oribe Foundation Mist, $23 "Prep damp hair with Foundation Mist and apply Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil from roots to end for a smooth, shiny blowout."

SLICK IT:Oribe Gel Serum, $58 "Create a deep side part and use Gel Serum to slick the top and side sections away from the face, and tuck them neatly behind the ears. Secure with a few clips."

CURL IT:Conair Instant Heat Styling Iron, $14.99 "Take sections from behind ears and back and spray them with Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray, then wrap them around a 3/4-inch curling iron. Set the curls and let them cool."

SPRAY IT:Oribe Shine Light Reflecting Spray, $36 "Once hair has cooled, undo the set and gently brush out each curl. Use hands to form curls into the desired shape. Finish with Superfine Hair Spray for hold and Shine Light Reflecting Spray for incredible luster."
