BLANKET STATEMENT

Fact: When I first pitched the "blanket-sweater" for a trend story, Ray responded, "like a Snuggie?"
Though not at all what I had in mind, it was a fair response, as that is pretty much exactly what it sounds like.
That said, the new fad in oversized, wrap-able outwear is a lot chicer than you expect--and unlike a Snuggie, we'd happily wear this style outside the privacy of our own homes.
In case you (like Ray) don't believe me, I've rounded up my favorite blanket-sweaters below... And no, none of these are made of fleece.
