bloomingdale's denim days

We're celebrating all things denim (and you're invited!)...

Here at NYLON HQ, there are a few things we hold holy: good tunes, leather jackets, the best kicks, and of course, all things denim! Call it an American tradition or a global fascination, but good denim is the constant in the equation of cool. And the truth is, that even the best of it will leave you searching for more. Which brings us to the discussion of a little NYLON tradition we call Denim Days!
A couple times a year we get together with fellow denim addicts and our friends at Bloomingdale's to celebrate all things blue, black and acid-washed...and well everything made of the sturdy cotton twill textile. We could go on a Bubba Gump-like naming spree when it comes to the long list of items comprised of denim at Bloomingdale's, but instead we'll just get right to the details.
Simultaneous Denim Days celebrations will be going down tomorrow, March 20, on both coasts. The New York festivities will take place at the 59th Street location and feature music by Brendan Fallis and an acoustic performance by Timeflies. As for the left coast, we’ll be at Bloomingdale’s Beverly Center with Tal Cooperman, as DJ Jacquelin M. Wood and Molitone provide the tunes along with a live performance by the Bad Suns. Plus, with your purchase of men’s denim at either location, you’ll receive free concert tickets from Ones to Watch. And of course we’ll have complimentary cocktails, Bud Light Platinum, and plenty of food to feast on throughout the evening.
It’s sure to be a good time, so check out the invites, make sure to respond to the correct RSVP, and we’ll see you all tomorrow for our denim dedicated celebration.
