Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez Recorded A Towering Song For The Victims Of Orlando

An all-star roster of singers has come out and joined forces to record a song for the victims of the Orlando, Florida shooting. Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, and Selena Gomez are just a few of the pop stars who show up on "Hands." The towering song that was co-written by Justin Tranter, a prolific songwriter who co-wrote Justin Bieber's "Sorry," and has penned hits for Gomez, Stefani, and a number of other acts. In total, 24 acts made contributions, and include Mary J. Blige, Halsey, Ty Herndon, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Mary Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Kacey Musgraves, MNEK, Alex Newell, P!nk, Prince Royce, Nate Ruess, RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Jussie Smollett, and Meghan Trainor.

According to Billboard, Tranter was writing songs with his partner Julia Michaels on Gomez's tour bus in Miami when he first heard the news of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub last month. Almost immediately, he signed on to volunteer at The Center Orlando, an LGBT community center. "I called them and said, 'If I fly up is there something for me to help with?'" Tranter explained. "They say, 'We need as many hands as we can possibly get.'"
