You know that thing where you're listening to embarrassing pop groups on your headphones hoping that the person standing next to you can't hear One Direction blasting from your earbuds? Well, thanks to Cable's truly amazing cover of One Direction's "One Thing" you never have to feel that way again.
The band, made up of Tracy Antonopoulos and Ben Morsberger, tranformed the boy band's hit into a guitar-laden, synth jam. Antonopoulos' sweet voice is the perfect counter to the heavy beat and cool grooves courtesy of producers Morsberger and Devonté Hynes. Plus, we're just predisposed to like any song whose artwork features a Antonopoulos photographed by Gia Coppola in a bed of stuffed animals.
Take a listen to the song below and don't forget to score a free download from their SoundCloud! And if you need some more Cable, listen to their single here and stay tuned for a new track coming soon!
