If there's a lesson to be gleaned from the brand-new video for CHVRCHES' "Leave A Trace," it's that frontwoman Lauren Mayberry is full-blown star. The eminently watchable singer carries this entrie clip for the lead single off the Scottish synth-pop trio's highly anticipated sophomore album, Every Open Eye. (The album's second single, "Never Ending Cirlces," is also out.) The concept here is simple: Put Mayberry—in all her goth-glam glory—in front of a camera, cue the moody lighting, smoke machines, and water effects, and she'll handle the rest.
Every Open Eye comes out on September 25, followed by a triumphant North American tour.
