essie makes handbag-inspired polishes for fall!
Maybe it's the whole back-to-school thing, or maybe it's the pretty color of the leaves, but there's something about the fall that gets us lusting for a new handbag.
The only problem: Purchasing a luxe bag every year tends to leave us penniless and guilt-ridden.
Luckily, Essie's come up with a solution. For fall, the nail polish giant teamed up with ASOS, launching a range of vintage handbag-inspired lacquers. Dubbed "Carry On," the collection mixes a dash of classic feminine hues (e.g. "Lady Like," a soft pinky polish) with a dose of richer, wintery sophistication ("Power Clutch," a greenish charcoal color).
Even though it probably wont cure our purse fetish, the range is the perfect way to keep last season's bag from looking too much like, um, last season.
