beauty queen: constance jablonski

a look deserving of the crown.

by rebecca willa davis

We love a good floral crown at NYLON--like the turban, it's a foolproof way to cover up second-day hair--but sometimes it feels a bit...out of place. Coachella? Good. Chilly New York in October? Not so good.

So the leaf headpiece Constance Jablonski recently wore is a perfect cold-weather hair accessory. It's cool without screaming summer--yes, even if you pair it with beach-y waves, like the model. While she wore a piece from jeweler Ana Khouri (now available at Barneys, in case you're interested), we tracked down an option that won't break the bank, along with a few products to help you get that fall goddess look going.

WAVE IT: Vidal Sassoon Waves Creme Pomade - $5.49

Vidal Sassoon's new Pro Series Waves Collection offers up seven different styling and care products to get that not-quite-straight, not-quite-curly look. Part wet hair in the center and then apply this creme pomade to the bottom two-thirds of your tresses--it will define waves without weighing your hair down.

GLOSS IT: Tigi Bed Head Headrush Shine Adrenaline Superfine Mist Spray - $16

Just because it's textured doesn't mean hair should be dull; get your shine on with this spray once your hair has dried.

CROWN IT: Pomp and Plumage Athena Grecian Leaf Headpiece - $70

The easiest part about this look? Just plop this on your head and you're ready to rule.
