Modern Citizen Modern Citizen is quickly becoming a one-stop shop for the modern, career-driven millennial. Their clean and simple ready-to-wear and accessories, offered in a neutral-hued assortment of minimalistic silhouettes, are suited for the every day—from the office to leisure. The prices are something we can all get behind, being extremely affordable while lacking that fast-fashion feel. They also offer a small collection of home goods, from stationery to bowls, that fit the brand’s aesthetic to a tee.

Local Eclectic Turn to Local Eclectic when your jewelry collection is in need of an update. American Two Shot American Two Shot is a multi-label boutique that offers a playful assortment of clothing, accessories, and more from the latest up-and-coming designers. You can expect to find some of the quirkiest clothing and oddities (like an eggplant pin or a unicorn-colored faux fur beer koozie), all under one (e-)roof. While their brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Manhattan also boasts a coffee shop and event space, you can still snag all the offerings from cool-girl brands like Samantha Pleet and Alice McCall online.
