Frances May (1013 SW Washington St. Portland, Or)

Brands: Common Projects, APC, Organic by John Patrick, Patrik Ervell, Wendy Nichol

This carefully curated boutique blends modern silhouettes with nostalgic charm. The founders are a dynamic duo, with grandmother, Connie Codding, and granddaughter, Pamela Baker-Miller, working together. Their store combines style for both men and women, never foregoing the attention to detail, craft, and design when stocking their store.

Ikram (15 East Huron Street, Chicago, IL)

Brands: Commes des Garcons, Celine, Sacai, Rick Owens, Thakoon, Rodarte, Creatures of the Wind

Named after the founder, Ikram Goldman, this boutique carries a mix of American, European, and Japanese hand-selected designers. The outside is definitely eye-catching; the unconventionally designed storefront is lacquered in red and boasts windows in the shape of circles. Upon entering, it’s as if one is stepping into a zen garden of shopping. The duplex also houses a cafe on the top floor and a small gallery for you to wander into.

TenOverSix (8425 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA)

Brands: Rachel Comey, Karen Walker, Bodkin, Acne, Alexander Wang, Band of Outsiders, 3.1 Phillip Lim

Founded by Kristen Lee, Brady Cunningham, and Joe Cole, this shop located in West Hollywood is all about showing product as art. Obsessed with good design, this trio ensures your shopping experience bring you to beautiful pieces, unexpected gifts, and new discoveries beyond the fashion spectrum. Exploring the interplay between relevant Fashion, Design and Art, TenOverSix reserves a wall for curating a rotation of art as well as floor space for sculpture.
