Cult Worthy: Daniel Silverstain

You’ll want everything, including the metallic.

With quite a past, Daniel Silverstain is becoming a new name to beat in the New York City fashion scene. As a former musican and recording artist from Israel, he changed the beat of his drum and started designing clothing while at FIT in 2009. After working for some noteworthy brands, such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Calvin Klein Collection, and Elie Tahari, he has started his own brand, which has been recongized by Vogue Italia, the CFDA, and Refinery29 as a new designer to watch. Silverstain likes to explore textiles with high technology and industrialism. Inspired by retro-futurism, Silverstain makes each season's designs with an optimistic and positive outlook of our future. His latest fall collection was inspired by his travels to India and the architecture, focusing on the point of view of the "new tourists" of India in the 1960s. Take a look for yourself, and see why we're so in love with Silvertain's use of color and fabrics. Just look at all those metallic pieces!
