When you think of Daniel Radcliffe, what comes to mind? Wizards? Duh. Literary icon? Why not. Romantic lead? Sure, that works. But creepy? No way...at least, playing spooky was about the furthest thing from the Harry Potter star as you could get, until we saw the new trailer for Horns.

Based on the eponymous book by Joe Hill, the film adaptation stars Radcliffe as Ig Perrish, a fairly normal dude--until he's accused of raping and killing his girlfriend, played by Juno Temple. He maintains his innocence, but it's especially tough to do when he wakes up one morning to find horns growing out of his head, and posessed with the ability to force confessions from complete strangers. Needless to say, he uses his newfound superpowers to enact his revenge on anyone who's doubted him. Yikes

And as if the plotline doesn't already cause goosebumps, we just got word that the film is also directed by Alexandre Aja, otherwise known as the mastermind behind the seriously scary The Hills Have Eyes. The movie will premiere at Comic-Con next week, but for now watch the teaser below and get ready to never look at Radcliffe the same way again.
