The first teaser trailer for Insurgent, the next installment in the Divergent trilogy, was solely focused on Tris' (Shailene Woodley) greatest pain—the loss of her mother. While it told us virtually nothing about the actual movie itself, Tris looked brutal and tough, and the world which Divergent is located seems to only get more dangerous. Now, a month later (to the day), we're finally getting that sneak peek via a totally intense, full-length trailer (complete with our boyfriend, Theo James, making a shirtless appearance.)
If you need a little refresher course, Divergent ended with the Erudite faction—led by Jeanine (Kate Winslet)—wiping out most of the Abnegation faction completely with a mind-control serum. Now, it's up to Tris, Four (Theo James), Caleb (Ansel Elgort), and the rest of the Dauntless faction to fight back, collapse the Erudite's control, and restore individual freedom. In the new film, they meet and join forces with the Factionless. The trailer reveals one major hiccup: Tris gets captured and must escape. Being the badass she is, we're sure she'll do just fine. Watch the trailer below.
(Unrelated: Is it wrong to miss her ponytail a little bit? It was such a nice ponytail.)
