That Nicki Minaj sure knows how to throw a party.
In her new clip for "Only," which follows a controversial lyric video rife with fascist, allegedly Nazi-esque imagery, the boundary-pushing rapper hosts an S&M freak-fest with three notable attendees: Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown, all of whom guest on the track.
Drizzy, Weezy, and Breezy fare better than the two dudes who get roughed up in the very beginning, though Brown spends much of the video lurking in the background, looking demonic as he stares down the camera through color contacts and presses up against a rubbery white wall. Drake and Wayne, meanwhile, ogle Nicki and generally take in the scenery, which is understandable, since the place is filled with whips, chains, and gas masks.
If this latest version of "Only" isn't exactly family viewing, the video is unlikely to draw the ire of groups the Anti-Defamation League, which blasted Nicki for the first video. (Minaj apologized and said she'd "never condone Nazism in my art.") Not that a little controversy is such a bad thing. Nicki drops her eagerly awaited third album, The Pinkprint, on Dec. 15.
