#trend: peekaboo panels

show, don’t tell.

by steff yotka

Crop tops and cut-outs might have been all the rage this summer, but come spring 2014 sheer paneling is going to be where it's at. Consider it a more demure option to bare skin, and maybe a little cheekier (especially around the bum!).

We spied see-through strips this morning at BCBG in two forms: either in the middle of skirts to create a floating hemline or geometrically patterned across flowy, floral print dresses to create a little peek-a-boo action. Less skin is in

Later at Richard Chai Love, entire dresses were made of sheer fabric, giving coverage only in places where the cloth was double layered so as models moved different parts of their bodies were revealed and concealed. We're pretty sure that some skin hide and seek is way more fun than just baring it all, check our gallery of images from the shows for the evidence.
