There's a ton of hotly anticipated TV en route this year, from HBO's start-studded Big Little Lies, to Hulu's dystopian saga The Handmaid's Tale. One of the shows that may not have as much buzz as its counterparts but has just as much potential, is TNT's Claws, a dramedy about five female nail salon employees who become entangled with the seedy underbelly of organized crime in South Florida.

In the show's first teaser, we get our first look at Niecy Nash as the boss lady, as well as the four women that work for her, played by Jenn Lyon, Judy Reyes, Carrie Preston, and Karrueche Tran, who's making her acting debut.

Aside from all the incredible shots of nail art, the real reason to get excited for Claws is because of who’s behind it. The series is executive produced by none other than Rashida Jones, who continues to prove that she's one of Hollywood's most dynamic, young creative forces.

"Claws is wild and hilarious, and we can’t wait for viewers to immerse themselves in this fascinating world,” said TNT's Sarah Aubrey when the show was picked up in November. “This is a show with great storytelling featuring empowered female characters and brought to life by a diverse group of incredibly talented individuals both in front of and behind the camera.”

The hour-long series premieres this summer. Watch the teaser for Claws above.
