For the summer '14 lookbook, G-Star Raw took the whole blue jean baby thing to the next level with denim on denim on denim. Denim hats, denim jackets, denim shirts--you name it, its here. Some might shy away from this, but for me, it's just proof you can never have too much of a good thing.
The Face: Bumble and Bumble's Hairdressers Invisible Oil Shampoo and ConditionerPutting oil all over your hair might be counterintuitive, but after using the new duo in the shower a few weeks ago, I'm officially sold. It's lightweight, smells nice, and leaves my hair soft and shiny--not a bit of grease in sight.
The Inspiration: Elvis Presley's Jailhouse Rock The fact that I'm going back to visit Tennessee this weekend makes me majorly nostalgic for old-school Elvis. (I may or may not have snagged a T-shirt with this very same photo on it...and totally plan on wearing it this week).
The Song: "Pitch Black" by PujolSometimes the only thing that will drag me out of bed on a Monday morning is a heavy dose of Southern swagger-rock. Luckily, that's easy enough to find in the form of Pujol's addictive new single "Pitch Black," off his new album Kludge.
