The ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Promo Is Pretty Intense

With a new season of Game of Thrones fast approaching, there is all the more reason to get excited and, of course, worried for the lives of your favorite characters. After season five closed with one of the biggest shocks of the show yet, it’s time to see what exactly happened. As the newest promo shows, season six isn’t holding back. The White Walkers are here.

While the 30-second clip sadly does not give an indication of what exactly happened to Jon Snow, it does show many key characters moving forward on their individual journeys. Ramsay is backed by an army. Brienne is moving through the woods, fierce as ever. Daenerys, Cersei, Jaimie, Tyrion, Sansa, and Theon all appear in flashes. And in the final few seconds of the video, Bran Stark makes his return to the series, looking decidedly older. The promo shows images of dragons, oceans, and a still-blinded Aria. There is no telling what could happen next.

The anticipation is only going to increase until the season premieres on April 24. Game of Thrones fans could very well be in for one of the most dramatic seasons yet.
