Dot com goes denim.

We'd like to salute Habitual's new blog, The Habit, for a few reasons that go beyond honoring it as a Site of the Day. (Bip Ling, that's still all you.)

First, even though it's connected to a brand, it's not very product-pushy.  They have a close-up of their denim looms in action, a piece about how snakeskin purses have now come to jeans, and that's about it.

The rest is actually just cool - they're obsessed with yarn bombing, and take photos of it anytime they spot it in New York or Los Angeles.  They did a photo essay about the six ways you can tie an Hermes scarf without looking ridiculous.  They take photos of the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, so you don't have to schlep all the way out there unless you really want to go.  It's kind of like a travel guide written erratically and semi-sarcastically by your friends.

Check it out and send them an email - especially if you spot a yarn-covered sculpture or a friend on the beach, making her scarf into a bikini.  (We've never seen it done, but we've heard rumors...)
