How To Rock “Greenery” Like Your Favorite Celebrities

20 looks to top

Green has long been overshadowed as a fashionable color in favor of classic black, brooding red, and millennial pink. But now Pantone has officially set the stage for the freshest color in the spectrum to receive its time in the limelight, so to speak. Although many of us have been naïve to green’s trend potential, some of the flyest dressers in the game have been using it to serve some serious looks throughout their careers.

We already showed you how to incorporate Pantone's color of the year into your wardrobe next season, but we know it's not going to be easy. During these desperate times, there's only one place to turn to for guidance: celebrity sphere. Long before Pantone decided to claim "greenery," some of our favorite trendsetters were owning the color in all of its grass-hued glory. (No disrespect to Kermit the Frog.) It takes some time to find the right shade of green to complement your complexion, but you'll know it when you see it.

Here are 20 wildfire looks to draw inspiration from; come 2017, and surely everyone around you will be green with envy over your new style. Let the inspo take over and try to use as little of your own green (as in money) as possible.
