wu you

the products you need from jason wu’s lancome collab.

It’s hard to follow the old adage “don’t judge a book by its cover,” when it comes to Lancome’s new collaboration with Jason Wu. The sleek floral packaging, which comes straight from Wu’s pre-fall runway line, is enough to persuade pretty much anyone to try the collection. But not surprisingly--and fortunately--the quality matches the gorgeous appearance. The designer does makeup as if it were candy, and this is definitely some of the sweetest we’ve ever tried.  After test-driving them all, here are the favorites most worth splurging on.

1. Color Design Eye Brightening All-In-One 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Midnight Floral, $50

Nearly all the color design palettes are amazing, but we especially love the palette in Midnight Floral, which contains the perfect all-year-round eyeshadows. From summer to winter these shades are the perfect neutrals, but provide just enough pop of color to shake things up. Our favorite is the burnt orange crease contouring color, and the best part? It stays on even after a dip in the pool.

2. Blush Subtil Duo in Pressed Rose, $30

Warning: this blush will have you throwing out all your others...it's that good. The duo is perfect for contouring and the consistency is super light. So long heavy, painted-on blush, hello Subtil duo.

3. Mini Precision Cheek Brush, $20

If you’ve ever put on blush with a bronzer brush (we’re guilty!) the Mini Precision Cheek Brush will have you changing your ways. Decidedly smaller than your average blush brush, it's the ideal cheek highlighter. The size makes it easier to apply blush to the cheeks without getting excess on other areas of the face. Pair it with the Blush Subtil Duo and your blush game will be on-point.

4. Artliner Eyeliner, $30.50

This felt-tipped pen hugs your lashline, making it easier than ever to apply a quick, natural-looking swoop. Want to go extreme with a cat-eye or an ultra-mod thick flick? No worries, you can do that, too.
