Netflix has dropped just so many trailers for its upcoming Marvel's Jessica Jones series that it’s getting a little hard to keep track of them all. With the show’s release date of November 20 close at hand, though, it looks like they’ve saved the most brutal preview for last.
Scooping up bits we’ve seen from past trailers and throwing in some very physical, very intriguing new footage, today’s trailer gives the viewer the clearest picture of what’s in store when Jones (Krysten Ritter) squares off against big bad David Tennant in a battle for New York and her mind. It also offers the best view of Jones herself—a “hard-drinking, short-fused mess of a woman,” according to compatriot and possible love interest Luke Cage (Mike Colter). Looks like Jones is about to make a run at the Black Widow for the title of Marvel’s most badass woman.
Enjoy, because it’s (hopefully) the last peek we’ll get at the dark, dark series before it finally hits Netflix November 20.
