Justin Bieber Lashes Out At A Fan For Throwing A Hat Onstage

Awkward

Justin Bieber has been a pop star for a minute. So you'd think he wouldn't be phased by someone throwing a hat onstage while trying to drop some half-baked knowledge on his audience. But that's what happened in Atlantic City, New Jersey, over the weekend, when JB momentarily lost his cool while philosophizing to his legions of Beliebers.

The awkward exchange went something like this: "The reason why it's called the Purpose tour is because I feel like everybody in this building has a purpose," Bieber told the crowd with surprisingly low energy. "And maybe it's not often that you speak about what your purpose may be, or your friend's purpose may be, and if we could take this moment to listen and try not to give me a hat or whatever you're trying to throw on stage right now, because I probably don’t want that shit—sorry, that was mean. But, yeah, now I lost what I was going to say. I was deep in, like, a mode—in the zone! I was in it, and now I'm out of it. I'll get it back, just give me a second," he said.

Bieber never really did get back in that zone. "Sorry for throwing your hat, but you ruined the moment. Whatever, let's do it," he told the hat thrower, before performing "Purpose." Bieber's bad vibes are nothing new. At this point in his career, he can barely contain his disdain for some of his more overzealous fans, and the internet is littered with instances of Bieber lashing out at them. You can now add the clip below to the collection.
