After much anticipation on last night's emotional 57th Grammy's performance of "Only One", Kanye worked the stage in what we now know is the definite model of the "Yeezy Boost", his first collaboration with Adidas Originals. “No one transcends music and fashion like Kanye West,” said Arthur Hoeld, general manager for adidas Originals. “He is a cultural icon like no other and brings a completely new expression to designing shoes. The YEEZY BOOST is the first sneaker that brings Kanye’s unique creativity and individuality to the forefront of its design. It will be highly sought-after and we expect to see unprecedented excitement when we release it in New York during one of the most exciting times for fashion, sports and culture.” The "Yeezy Boost" combines Adidas boost sole technology with high-end details. Adidas announced that the "Yeezy Boost" will release this Valentine's Day, February 14, 2015, in New York, shaking things up a bit with All-Star Week and Fashion Week. Reservations for select adidas stores, Foot Locker and Champs Sports locations can be made prior to release day through the adidas Confirmed app, and some New York retailers including Packers Shoes and Dover Street Market will be holding a limited quantity of pairs. So is the shoe worth canceling those Valentine Day plans? If so, Kanye might be your only Valentine this year.
