For someone who has starred in such action-packed films such as The Matrix and 47 Ronin, it's not surprising to see Keanu Reeves returning to the silver screen as the titular role in the New York City-based hitman film John Wick. Though he doesn't do his own stunts in the film and may have just developed the appearance of being one badass fighter, Reeves certainly gives off the vibe of someone who won't be messed with. Just like his character, he's got business to do.
The film focuses on the adventures of an ex-hitman, John Wick, who loses everything—including the dog that his dying wife gave to him—to a bunch of Russian gangsters. Not cool. Though Wick had since retired from the trade, this unforgiveable crime leads him to get back in the game, seeking justice and vengeance against those who wronged him. The man has got some determination and he won't let anything get in his way.
Though he may not have any gangsters chasing after him and he doesn't have a hitman past (that we know of), Reeves' career has received extra attention online. Sad Keanu. Keanu memes. Keanu life advice. That's why we were curious: does the famed actor ever Google himself?
"I haven't done the Reevesian Google," Reeves admit to us. "No, I've done an IMDB sometimes to figure out, 'What year was that?'" So he's conscious of his professional work, but doesn't let it get in the way of his personal life. If that doesn't sound like the attitude of a successful hitman, then we don't know what does.
