There's a lot of hubbub during winter about caring for your hair, but let it be heard that the summer sun, heat, and humidity can be just as hard to handle as the freezing winter temperatures and dryness.

Personally, I spend the summer in the sun with my hair in a center-parted ponytail, which means I have to put some intense sunscreen on my scalp (glamorous, I know), and constantly worry about the front pieces getting greasy in a matter of hours. It's not an ideal situation by any means, but neither is the dry-scalped, strawlike hair that comes with many dry shampoos or styling powders. So when Kerastase's new Iniatialiste Hair and Scalp Serum landed on my desk, I was pretty stoked about the possibilities the formula offered.

After using the serum for almost two weeks, I've found that I not only have shinier, stronger hair, but that my scalp is way happier. No really. With all the trauma that  my scalp endures (sunburns and tight ponytails are just some of the fun I put it through), I thought it would never be able to forgive me. But with this soothing serum, it is.

So if you want to give your hair a treat, get Kerastase's new serum here. I promise you won't regret it.
