Lana Del Rey And The Weeknd’s “Lust For Life” Single Is Here

Fresh from BBC Radio 1

At the moment, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn are all in retrograde, Beyoncé and Serena Williams are carrying the future of our planet in their wombs, and Bill O'Reilly has been fired from Fox. So, it's only natural that Lana Del Rey would choose to release her next single when we need her to bring more balance into the universe. The singer-songwriter premiered the title track for her forthcoming full-length album live on BBC 1

"Lust For Life" marks Lana Del Rey's second collaboration with The Weeknd. The dark pop anthem recites another coming-of-age love ballad as Lana begs her Cool™ boyfriend to "take off all of your clothes." When The Weeknd chimes in with his signature high falsetto floating above all the instrumentals, he speaks of how the "good die young" from "having too much fun." (Take a shot, y'all, it's going to be a long ride.)

The slow song has an intimate '60s feel to it as Lana brings out the acoustics to channel a more laid-back vibe. The stars have aligned in the pale moonlight to read LFL, baby. Listen to Del Rey cast her spell on the whimsical tune, below.
