With the advent of FaceTime, iMessage, Skype, and email, long distance relationships have undergone a major makeover. Gone are the days when hand written letters were the only way for couples who were separated by circumstance to tell one another how much they miss each other. But one couple is showing us just how far this new landscape of connecitvity can go. Danbi Shin and Seok Li are separated by an entire world, with one living in New York, and the other in Seoul. But they haven't let a mere 6,836 miles stop them from sharing each others lives. Below, a photo project they concocted that gives long distance couples around the world a little bit of hope. Can we be invited to the wedding, please?

- I miss the feeling of holding on to your hand. I reach forward to touch the light. Will you feel what I am feeling? - The new collage presented by ShinDanbiLiSeok, which usually focuses in the realms of installation art and media art, is a project created by the two in different places while sharing their daily lives. The two artists are currently far from each other in Seoul and New York. We adjusting the position of the phone call and smooth paste take photos. This project name is “Half&half". Their art started with a simple thought of wondering if anything can be created while being away from eachother. The photos are taken simultaneously despite 14 hour difference. The project aims to discover the similarites during the course of a completely different lifestyle between New York and Seoul.
