We've known Eddie Huang for a while now and as the world at large gets to know him, people often ask us what he's really like in person? We always offer these three (actually six) words to describe him-- genuinely funny, incredibly intelligent, totally unpredictable (emphasis on the unpredictable).

The

is adding another title to his business card--designer. Yes, we have the first look at Huang's fashion line, which he's dubbed Monica Monroe. The first look comes via photographer Jon Snyder and the fashion story features a model, Huang's good friend "

The Fat Jew

," and the designer himself. When we asked the newest fashion star for the inspiration behind this first collection and its corresponding cookbook, this is what he had to say;

"It's Lebowski steez. The line utilizes some liberty fabric, spandex, faux fur, and chambray for the grey joint. Its inspired by Monica Lewinsky, Marilyn Monroe, The Dude, Al Bundy, Grimace from McDonald's and classy people of that ilk."

We personally get it. We love it and we're going to be first in line to cop some fresh fits come January 14th when it hits stores. So far the collection is confirmed to be carried at Reed Space, Bodega, and Ambush but we're anticipating a demand that grows that list quick. Follow Eddie on Twitter
