The Moschino Barbie Doll And Collection Is What Dreams Are Made Of

for barbie girls in a moschino world

Last spring, our childhood fascinations met our sartorial dreams with Moschino’s Barbie collection, which featured all things pink and adorned with “Moschino” written in the beloved doll brand’s signature script. Now, our obsession continues with the Moschino collector’s Barbie doll and accompanying ready-to-wear collection, which drops today.

The doll, which retails for $150, is adorned in your typical, Jeremy Scott-designed gear, like slogan tees, logo-trimmed knits, and a matching leather bomber jacket and skirt. And let’s not forget the accessories: A leather baseball cap, quilted cross-body bag, sunglasses, layered necklaces, mismatched earrings, and—you guessed it—the gold chain belt with charms that spell out “Moschino.” The collection features people-sized versions of the doll’s clothing, so you can coordinate with the Barbie, of course.

“I wanted to bring all of the Moschino elements to Barbie, as I had done the reverse by bringing all of the Barbie elements to Moschino for the SS15 collection,” says Scott in a press release with Net-a-Porter. “The thing I love most about Barbie is that she is the ultimate muse; she’s worn every style and design imaginable, and at the same time she’s had every possible profession you can dream of.”
