she’ll play ruth bader ginsberg

Natalie Portman is going back to Harvard. The Oscar-winning actress will play Supreme Court Justice (and recent Time magazine cover star) Ruth Bader Ginsberg in the new film On The Basis of Sex, Deadline confirms. This is a role Portman was born to play: Both women went to Harvard, both are Jewish, and both look really good in black.

The film is set to be directed by The Diary of Teenage Girl helmer Marielle Heller, and will follow Ginsberg's life as she battles for equal rights over the course of her illustrious career. But before Portman dons the cloak and gavel, she'll hit the Croisette when her directorial debut A Tale of Love and Darkness has its world premiere next week at Cannes.

So apparently going to Harvard is a good thing.
