Fashion

the best street style looks at nyfw, day four

too. damn. cool.

by nylon

NYFW day four may have been exceptionally freezing (we're talking below zero temperatures), but, of course, that didn't stop the fashion crowd from turning out at some of the week's coolest shows: Public School, Hood By Air, DKNY, Opening Ceremony, Thakoon, Prabal Gurung, and Bobby Abley. Luckily for us, that means that we have some more real-life winter style inspiration from outside Made Fashion Week at Milk Studios and various show venues around town. (Score!) Click through the gallery to see our favorite looks off the runway from the day.

Check out our day oneday two, and day three street style finds, too!

Sometimes all you need for a great look is the right attitude.

Wear your capris, but make sure you have some serious sock game. (No exposed skin!)

Statement sneakers should never go away.

Girl parade! That red jacket is incredible. (Though, zip it! It looks chilly!)

Proving that fanny packs and floor-length fur aren't just for the over-60 crowd.

Can you direct us to the Hood By Air show?

Winter layering isn't just a girls' game.

The shell toes, the tights and sock combo, and dear Goddess, WHAT IS THAT COAT? Please bring it to us, promptly.

Bucket hats. That is all.

This looks like an amazing cocoon.

Appropriate footwear.

May Kwok is boss at Yigal.

Pro-tip: Stand out in a sea of black.

Perfect.

What a way to make your purple hair pop!

Mixed prints meets bold hues.

Our pal Oh Land hits up Yigal Azrouel in a perfect coordinating outfit.

Sick belt!

Must buy for spring: A head-to-toe goth-floral jumper.

Natalie Joos stans for Derek Lam.

Editor style, perfected.

This wouldn't be a street style round-up without a bit of leopard.

Instant outfit upgrade: A massive furry hat.

Grace Coddington simply forbids the cold to affect her.

Loving these glasses.

Devilishly dapper.

A cozy way to be chic.

The matching shoes/hat is good, the jeans are good, the warm vest is good, but it is the light pink floral coat that really pulls it all together.

Amazing use of pretty easy basics (Timberlands, a bandana, a flushed complexion).
