and performed a rap for the kids

There seems to be a pretty awesome trend of celebrities visiting hospitals recently—both Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence were spotted at children's hospitals in Los Angeles and Canada, respectively. The next celebrity to join the list was Nicki Minaj, who visited the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, which made headlines recently for being the first hospital to perform a dual hand transplant on a child.

Minaj, who showed up at CHOP yesterday, was there in partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. During her stay there, she rapped for the children before opening up for a Q&A. Her final advice to the kids about chasing their dreams proved to be inspirational: "If it’s truly your passion, go for it. But stay in school.”

Watch the full clip of her touching trip below.

Here's a closer look at Nicki Minaj's visit to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia last week! It was so much fun having her at #SeacrestStudios and the patients loved asking her all of their questions. Posted by Ryan Seacrest Foundation on Tuesday, August 11, 2015
