Calling all fashion/music/pop culture junkies! NYLON is currently looking for digital editorial interns, print editorial interns, design interns, and video/production interns for the fall term.
Ideal candidates have previously interned at another publication or media company, have relevant experience in the applicable department, a deep interest in elements of music, art, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and pop culture, a vast knowledge of social media platforms, and most importantly love NYLON.
All applicants must be able to receive academic credit from their college (as the internship is unpaid), and work a minimum of two days per week in our SoHo office in New York.
Responsibilities vary by department, but digital editorial and print editorial interns primarily write and research stories, transcribe interviews, and pitch ideas. (That said, knowledge of Photoshop and HTML is a huge plus.)
If interested, please submit a brief cover letter, resume, and 2-3 writing samples in PDF form—design applicants should attach a portfolio—to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject "NYLON [insert department name] Internship" by Monday, August 15.
