Sunday was a busy day for Netflix, who announced a massive crop of new shows, renewed Jessica Jones for a second season, and premiered the trailer for your new favorite show Love. It also dropped a teaser for the fourth season of your current favorite show, Orange Is the New Black.
While not much in terms of plot is revealed, all the ladies of Litchfield show up, including Natasha Lyonne's Nicky, who quips that prison is "just like the Hamptons, only horrible."
As for what we can expect when the show returns on June 17, series creator Jenji Kohan spoke to reporters Sunday at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, and revealed that the fourth season will explore any of the themes we've come to expect from the prison saga. "We start with political agendas, the corporatization of the prison, the stratification of people into their little mosaic groups," Kohan said. "We want it to be a surprise, but [you can expect] all the fun stuff like race and hate and some things from current events that we wanted to filter through our lens.”
Works for us. Watch the teaser above.
