premiere: riton ft. jeremih “trap house”

The first track off of the producer’s highly anticipated new release…

by Josh Madden

As Henry Smithson aka Riton readies himself for the much-anticipated July 1 release of his new album You Can't Stop The Clock and a slew of live dates to support its release the producer-DJ wrote in to let us know this time around that the project was all about enjoying musical freedom. The record is comprised of a dozen of Riton's favorite tracks re-imagined and given a whole new life by the big room slayer. If you're not already familiar with this guy's work, let us just clue you in: He rips it up at Space in Ibiza, killed on the BCK2BCK tour with Mark Ronson and is a monster on the Festival circuit. We're super stoked to premier the first cut off of You Can't Stop The Clock a groove titled "Trap House" featuring the vocals off of Jeremih's (F**ck you all the Time). If this is any indicator of Riton's newest work, we're geeked! This is one of those tracks that will fit anywhere in a DJ's set and all five minutes and three seconds of it is solid. It's one of those tracks we call a "smoke break" because you can just put it on and chill--tracks like this are rare. The organ synths have that Chicago House vibe and honestly, if you've never heard Jeremih's version, you'd think this is the original. You can catch Riton on the dates below or keep up with his tour schedule HERE and make sure to get all the new jams HERE July first!
