private icon: hitchcock heroines

celebrate the master of suspense’s birthday in style!

by ali hoffman

On this date in 1899, Alfred Hitchcock was born in east London. Dedicating his entire life to cinema, Hitchcock directed over fifty feature films and earned the title of the Master of Suspense. From Vertigo to Psycho, he had a tendency to stick to what he liked, whether it be trains, strange mothers, sociopaths, and, of course, beautiful, blonde heroines.

To celebrate the filmmaker's birthday, we decided to recreate the ever-so-chic Hitchcock Heroine, sourcing from our favorite boutiques and designers. We think you'll like it... In fact, we don't have a shadow of a doubt.
