batter up: reebok collaborates with maison kitsuné

Reebok is revamping their athletic aesthetic by collaborating with Parisian fashion house Maison Kitsuné for a collection that pays homage to America's pastime. The sportswear brand has teamed up to create a line of apparel and accessories for both men and women that is inspired by the uniforms of classic baseball teams such as the Brooklyn Dodgers. It's as if they've created their own, ready-to-wear baseball league. For their part, Maison Kitsuné is always expanding into unfamiliar avenues. They have a few stand-up coffee bar in Paris called Café Kitsuné, as well as one in Tokyo, and a record label named Kitsuné. The brand enjoys all different types of artistry and cultures with a preppy yet laid-back aesthetic. The collection features a retro color palette with collegiate lettering to evoke an all-American feel. It will be available at The Rivington boutique in the U.S. and at Maison Kitsune on September 12. Check out our favorites from the lookbook.
