Did Rihanna Plagiarize Her New Single?

Forget the charts. Forget the radio. Nowadays, the true mark of a hit single is whether or not it comes with a plagiarism accusation. For example, when Katy Perry dropped "Roar," critics noticed that it sounded a lot like Sara Bareilles' "Brave." And just last month Pharrell and Robin Thicke had to pay up after a judge decided that their monster hit "Blurred Lines" was a little too similar to Marvin Gaye's classic "Got To Give It Up." Now it's Rihanna's turn to face the music.

After releasing her gangster new single "Bitch Better Have My Money" earlier this week, fans of the relatively obscure artist Just Brittany accused RiRi of straight-up copying the Texas-based rapper's "Betta Have My Money" which she released on SoundCloud nine months ago. After listening to the two songs, it's hard to ignore the similarities, from the tone of the lyrics right down to the booming hook.

Reps for the singers have yet to comment. In the meantime, listen to both songs below and let us know what you think.
