Sami Miró Just Launched Her Own Vintage Line

Made entirely of reconstructed fabrics

Sami Miró is certainly one to watch. Not only is she one-half of possibly the cutest couple in Hollywood right now (that’s right, she’s the beauty seen involved in some very adorable PDA with Zac Efron), but the multitalented Miró has also been making a name for herself in the fashion industry. Just yesterday, she launched her own line clothing line made from reconstructed vintage fabrics, called Sami Miró Vintage (that's SMV for friends).

Originally, Miró left her job at a tech startup to pursue her creative side—which led to some modeling and styling (she even styled Kiersey Clemons for NYLON just a few months ago)—and establish herself as a vintage connoisseur. She figured the natural next step would be to create a line of her own.

She debuted her collection on Efron over the weekend, after he asked her to style him for the MTV Movie Awards. With the help of her friend, Phlemuns, the three of them worked together to create the custom denim bomber below—a made-to-order style now available at SMV.

Can that jacket be any more amazing? More importantly, can they be any more precious?

The line is an incorporation of vintage fabrics Miró loves to work with and that she considers her “go-tos” (denim, leather, velvet, and python print) with pieces she considers staples in her own wardrobe.  Her current offerings include mesh-and-denim bodysuits, patchwork denim jackets, '90s-inspired chokers, and reworked his-and-her beaters. “Authenticity is everything to me and this project really represents me from the clothing and accessories to the creative direction of my first campaign,” she told me over email. Over time, she’ll be rolling out more pieces as the line takes off.

The craziest part of the whole thing? Her journey to launch her collection started less than ten days ago. That’s pretty much record-breaking time to conceptualize a line and actually bring it to life.
