Watch Selena Gomez’s “Good For You” Video

this is, err, interesting

by Yasmeen Gharnit

While there's no exact formula for how Disney stars transition into full-fledged adults, it seems like it always involves a water and sexual innuendo-filled video. Giving a one-up on Hilary Duff's "Come Clean," Selena Gomez dropped her video for "Good For You" this morning. With a nude shower scene, wet white t-shirts, and a lot of rolling around, the video seems equal parts too try-hard and unimaginative. We get it: You're a 22-year-old adult woman with desires and a probable case of summertime sadness. And while you call the video a "stripped-down" representation of the song (which, for the record, we have been playing on repeat since its release), we find it a bit distracting.
