Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, And Michael Phelps Perform On ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Just when we thought Laurie Hernandez was the only multitalented one of the 2016 Olympic gang, fellow American athletes Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, and Michael Phelps swooped in this weekend to prove us all wrong.

The three appeared on a live episode of Lip Sync Battle last night for some pretty impressive performances. Phelps went solo to give us his best impression of B-Rabbit from 8 Mile as he performed Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.” The song is one of Phelps’ favorite pre-race pump-up tunes and it (sort of) showed in his gold medal lip sync job.

Similar to the movie, Phelps starts out intensely staring himself in the mirror. When he makes his way to the stage, he engages in a little arm-pumping action, and there’s even some choreography involved. Who knew the most decorated Olympian of all time had it in him?! The segment ends with an American flag suddenly appearing in the background (because, America) and a mic drop finish.

Biles and Raisman weren’t the stars of their performance, but they might as well have been. The two joined actress Olivia Munn onstage as she took on Sia’s “Chandelier.” Decked out in nude leotards and tutus, they gave dancer Maddie Ziegler some competition as they leaped, flipped, and twirled around the stage.
