get the spring makeup looks from our april issue!

If there's any time to get crazy experimental with your wardrobe, it's spring time. March turns to April and all of a sudden mixing trench coats and skirts and sweaters of all different prints just seems like the right thing to do.

Luckily for you, we have plenty of mashup inspiration right here in April's fashion spread, appropriately titled "In the Mix." While you were scanning the pages trying to figure out how to emulate the babes clad in floral Doc Martens, Coca-Cola shorts, and printed bucket hats, you probably couldn't help but wonder how to nab their killer beauty looks too. Well, look no further because makeup artist Tina Turnbow shared her techniques with us! Read how she managed to create that perfect bronzy glow for the models below:

"For the eye I used

Urban Decay creamy 24/7 eye pencil in "Roach

" and lined all around the top and bottom lash line. I then dabbed a bit of

Aquaphor

on the lids using

Laura Mercier's "Finishing Eye" brush

," she explained. "I blended the liner from the lashline across the lid and into the crease, then a swipe across the lower lashline."

And as for that signature glow? According to Turnbow, "The Aquaphor mixed with the liner created a buffed out sheer wash of bronziness; for added definition, I lined the inner rim of the eye with

Sephora's Collection "Intense Black" Kohl liner.

" Finally, use

IT Cosmetics "Brow Power"

and brush them up for a feathery feel. Top it off with

MARK by Avon Juice Gems

lip gloss in "Snow Peach" and "Mango Tango" for extra color.

Get inspired by the spread in the gallery, then get ready to take the clash to the next (really pretty) level this spring.
