This ‘Twin Peaks’ Spin-Off Trailer Will Make Your Day

As we wait for David Lynch to finish the masterpiece that will be the Twin Peaks revival, co-creator Mark Frost is set to release a spin-off book titled The Secret History of Twin Peaks. Described as a "vastly layered, wide-ranging history” of the show, the novel almost serves as a record for the original series. Within the 368 pages, we'll get all the details for missing plot points that have been floating around for the past 26 years. 

In the newly released trailer, we are shown an assortment of clues spread out on a table: a cup of coffee, a receipt, a crime report, a slice of pie, a log, a physician's intake form for the Log Lady, a postcard from Norma and Hank, and a memorandum from deputy director Gordon Cole about a crime scene connected to Laura Palmer.

We've never been so excited to read a book, and we can't wait to get our hands on The Secret History of Twin Peaks come October 18. If that seems too long, you can pre-order the novel now on AmazonTwin Peaks is expected to return to Showtime sometime in 2017.
